○ Illustrated Lyrics: Illustrate 2-4 lines from the lyrics to your favourite song or original poem. The words can be incorporated in the painting or sent separately.
○ Monochromatic Painting: Monochromatic color schemes are derived from a single base colour, and it’s tints and shades.
○ It is an open medium painting competition.
○ The competition will be conducted and judged completely online.
○ Participants will submit their artwork via the official Impressions website.
○ No live presence will be required for this competition.
○ A concept note will have to be submitted explaining the thought process behind the painting.
○ Any medium of color allowed: Water colors, acrylic colors, Poster colors, Oil colors.
○ The maximum page size allowed for this competition is A3.
○ For Illustrated Lyrics:
■ You have to consider only 2 - 4 lines from the lyrics. If the lines have not
been included in the painting, the participants should mention them in the
concept note.
■ Mention the name of the song and artist, from which the lyrics have been
taken, in the concept note.
○ Concept note (with the Lyrics for Illustrated Lyrics) should be uploaded in .jpeg or .pdf or .docx in the link provided. Marks will be deducted if the concept note is not submitted.
○ This concept note should explain the thought process behind the painting and the medium used.
○ By submitting their artwork, the participants declare that their artwork is original and that they are the sole creators of the artwork. A provision will be made on the submission link to sign a declaration ensuring the same.
